Procrastination. It’s a bad and good thing. Today (this whole bloody Spring Break), it really got to me. I didn’t do my homework till today. Wow. I really need to get away from my Facebook and You Tube. :/
So in a older post, I showed a book I bought , Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I’m really trying to decide if I like it or not. It was a best seller on New York Times, but maybe it was just for them. The book and it’s dialouge (I really don’t know how to spell that, or half the words I write and my spell check is saying it’s wrong) is just really corny so far. It feels like when ever they mention the fact that they’re zombie slayers it’s not the way I picture somebody from that time saying it or thinking it.
Let’s think of it this way.
You know that one guy that says something, and then says a really corny joke or line right after it to make you laugh that has some relativity to what he just said, but it really was lame and had nothing to do with it. That’s kind of how it feels when I read it.
And I really WANT to like it, but I don’t know if I can. :/ I’ll try to read a little bit more of it to see if I do like it.
Err. I just had a really disturbing realization. I don’t like Twilight right? Well for some reason I have a Breaking Dawn poster with some corny love line between “Deep personality” Bella, and “Totally not creepy” Edward. I’m wondering why in the world I have it. I think the only reason it’s there is because I don’t want an empty space on my wall. I NEED to find something to put there!!
Today I went to go see Alice in Wonderland in 3D, the new movie by Tim Burton. The movie was really good, and it wasn’t what I was expecting. I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t that. The 3D on the other hand was pointless; it would have been great without it.
When I went to see it, I thought it was going to be based on Through the Looking Glass; instead, Tim Burton made a completely different story in my opinion. Tim Burton has a great vision with all his works, and it all seems to fit no matter what. He used the stories, but changed them dramatically without going overboard. I was very pleased with this movie, and I would definitely go see it again, but not in 3D.
I have had such a good day. My mom, dad, and I went up to Southern Pines for the day and I just walked around and shopped. I bought two new books, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and A Reliable Wife. I also bought some mineral eyeshadow from Mixology, and it is really pretty. Usually I don’t buy much make-up, so this is kind of big for me. For lunch we went to this really good sandwich shop, That’s A Deli. I think I had one of the best sandwiches ever. I bought a roast beef sandwich with muenster cheese with a little bit of mayonnaise on a whole grain bread; it was delicious. There were a lot of really cute shops too. A lot of them were way to expensive for me at the moment, but it was still nice to look and see.

I am a big fan of Apple products. They have revolutionized a lot of our technology. For example, the Macbook. Oh my goodness, I really want one.. haha. I’ve been looking them up recently, and just looking at one makes me want one even more. 
Aren’t they pretty? The only downside to wanting this so bad is the fact that I do not have the money for it. D: I’m going to try and save my money to buy one.
This is a little nerdy, but I am very excited that Syfy is showing Merlin now. CBS had it for a season, and I guess they didn’t get enough ratings to keep it going (I THINK, I don’t know for sure!), but they did cancel it. Syfy now has it on and I am so excited! I have been dying to know what would happen next, and I’m going to find out now!!
I’ve had a fun nerdy day. haha. Along with randomly searching wedding dresses for the fun of it. hah. :D
I can not wait for college!
Today my mom, my best friend and I went up to Raleigh to get my glasses, (I adore my glasses by the way, but my eyes are trying to adjust to them haha) and we went up to the NC State University campus to drive around and see it. It is a beautiful campus, but I’m very sure that Appalachian State University has my heart. :)
I’ve been up to ASU and it feels like home. And they have the program that I want. I just think that’s amazing. :) I’ve always wanted to college. I want the independence and it just looks fun. I’m so excited!
So, as I was walking with my dog outside, we happened to stumble, luckily, upon a mangled dead rabbit in front of someone’s yard. And what I want to know is why my neighborhood hasn’t disposed of it properly, because I saw it yesterday when walking. I would think that it would be gone, but apparantly I was wrong.. It was not pretty either…. it was really disturbing…
And another part of my unexciting life; my dad gave me this bag of bread and said “Hannah, now tomorrow you’re going to…” and I said “Feed the birds? Tuppin a bag, tuppin tuppin. Tuppin a bag.” This only proves even more that I do not have a life.
I do need a life…
I don’t think I’ve had a more awkward day in my life. Well, it wasn’t too awkward. I’ve had worse (in the awkwardness..). But I had to stand outside of my mom’s friends store and hold up a sign. That doesn’t sound bad, but it’s just weird. It’s really weird when you make eye contact with some of the people in the car…. Err, it’s just weird.
Maybe it’s just me..
But I did get something out of this day. I got a belated birthday dinner and had an amazing cake; then we went to Old Navy and I bought one of the new cardigans. I was going to put a picture of it on here, but I couldn’t find one. But they are really cute. :D
That was my day. :)
